Welcome to Rain Drops Counselling
About ME
I believe that I am a warm, thoughtful, and compassionate counsellor, offering a safe and supportive where my clients can feel heard, accepted, and understood. I work with care, patients and genuine curiosity, helping clients their experiences at a pace that feels right for them. With a background in psychology and counselling I bring both professional support and deeply empathetic approach to my work. I believe that counselling is built on trust, openness, and connection. My aim is to create a space where everyone can speak freely without the fear of judgment.
I support clients make sense of difficult emotions, life experiences, and personal challenges, which can lead to developing a greater self-awareness, confidence and clarity.
MY Services
I offer a range of professional counselling services tailored to meet your unique emotional needs, fostering a supportive environment for personal growth.
Person-centred
At times, we all need a space where we can simply be ourselves, without judgment, pressure, or expectation. Person-Centred Therapy offers that space. It’s based on the belief that you already hold the inner resources needed for growth and healing. My role is to provide genuine understanding, empathy, and acceptance so that you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace safely. Through this process, you can rediscover your strengths, develop self-acceptance, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change" -Carl Rogers.
Psychodynamic
Our past shapes who we are today. Some experiences leave deeper marks than others, influencing how we think, feel, and relate to those around us. Psychodynamic Therapy helps bring these patterns into awareness — connecting the past with the present — so you can understand yourself more deeply and find new ways to move forward. Together, we can explore your story with compassion and work toward healing and personal growth.
"Unexpressed Emotions Will Never Die": "Emotions that are not processed or expressed are buried, only to return later in "uglier ways"-Sigmund Freud
CBT
The way we think shapes how we feel, act, and understand the world around us. Sometimes, our thoughts can turn against us — creating worry, self-doubt, or emotional pain. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps you recognise and reshape these patterns, so your thoughts become a source of strength rather than distress. Through this process, you can develop greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and a more compassionate perspective on yourself and your life.
- "You don't have to control your thoughts; you just have to stop letting them control you." — Danielle C. King
My Commitment to your growth
I am dedicated to fostering a positive, safe environment for personal development and emotional clarity. At your pace, at your peace.
YOU ARE
WHO YOU ARE
Whatever journey has brought you here, however strict or ruthless, there is no judgment; no two people are the same. I encourage you to bring your personality into the room. Together, we will discover whatever the best path may be for you.
Community Engagement
I am volunteering with KidsAid to work with children who are experiencing a variety of different issues, talking with them and developing tailored plans to support them and their loved ones in their time of need.
At your pace at your peace
Healing doesn’t happen on a schedule, and therapy isn’t about constant conversation. Whether you need time to build trust, find the right words, or simply sit with your thoughts, that’s completely okay. Together, we’ll create a safe and steady space where you can move forward at your own pace — towards your own sense of peace.
Psychoeducation
To the best of my abilities, I will work with you, as well as teach you the best methods to understand and respond to your child's behaviours, so you may improve your relationship and support for them.
AIMS
I aim to help you navigate life’s challenges, learn how to sit with difficult emotions, and feel supported as you find your way forward.
