Professional Counselling Services

At Rain Drops Counselling, we specialize in providing compassionate support for individuals facing emotional challenges such as anxiety, overwhelm, and uncertainty. Our dedicated team is here to help you navigate through your journey towards emotional well-being.

About me.
I am a warm, thoughtful, and compassionate counsellor who offers a calm, grounded space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. My approach is gentle but steady, I walk alongside you, not ahead of you, and I believe deeply in the strength that grows when someone finally feels heard. My practice is shaped by the idea that every person carries their own story, and every story deserves patience, curiosity, and respect. I work integratively, drawing from person‑centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive‑behavioural approaches, adapting the work to what you need rather than expecting you to fit a model. Clients often tell me they feel safe with me, not because everything is easy, but because they don’t have to pretend. You can bring your uncertainty, your grief, your anger, your confusion, or your hope. All of it is welcome. Before becoming a counsellor, I spent years supporting people through difficult transitions, loss, and emotional overwhelm. These experiences taught me that healing doesn’t happen through pressure — it happens through connection, honesty, and the courage to take one small step at a time. I currently volunteer with KidsAid, supporting children and young people through trauma, anxiety, and emotional distress. This work continues to shape my understanding of resilience and the importance of meeting each person exactly where they are. Whether you’re feeling lost, stuck, or simply ready to understand yourself more deeply, I’m here to offer a space where you don’t have to face things alone

How I work

I work integratively, which means I draw from several therapeutic approaches and adapt them to your needs rather than expecting you to fit a single model. People come to counselling for different reasons, and no one approach works for everyone. My role is to understand you, your story, and what feels most helpful for you.
Person‑Centred Therapy
This approach focuses on creating a safe, accepting space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. It helps you reconnect with your own inner resources and develop a stronger sense of self.
Psychodynamic Therapy
This explores how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns shape the way you feel and behave today. It can help you understand long‑standing emotional struggles and make sense of deeper layers of your story.
Cognitive‑Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT looks at the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It can help you challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical tools for managing anxiety, low mood, and everyday stress.
My Approach
I don’t believe in rushing or pushing. We work at your pace, with patience and curiosity. Some sessions may feel gentle, others more reflective or challenging — but always within a safe, supportive relationship where you remain in control.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, grief, stress, relationship difficulties, or simply trying to understand yourself better, I offer a space where you can explore what’s happening with honesty and compassion.

Individual Counselling
Person-centred

At times, we all need a space where we can simply be ourselves, without judgment, pressure, or expectation. Person-Centred Therapy offers that space. It’s based on the belief that you already hold the inner resources needed for growth and healing. My role is to provide genuine understanding, empathy, and acceptance so that you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace safely. Through this process, you can rediscover your strengths, develop self-acceptance, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change" -Carl Rogers.

Individual Counselling
Psychodynamic

Our past shapes who we are today. Some experiences leave deeper marks than others, influencing how we think, feel, and relate to those around us. Psychodynamic Therapy helps bring these patterns into awareness — connecting the past with the present — so you can understand yourself more deeply and find new ways to move forward. Together, we can explore your story with compassion and work toward healing and personal growth.

Individual Counselling
CBT

The way we think shapes how we feel, act, and understand the world around us. Sometimes, our thoughts can turn against us — creating worry, self-doubt, or emotional pain. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps you recognise and reshape these patterns, so your thoughts become a source of strength rather than distress. Through this process, you can develop greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and a more compassionate perspective on yourself and your life.

My Commitment to your growth

I am dedicated to fostering a positive, safe environment for personal development and emotional clarity. At your pace, at your peace.

YOU ARE
WHO YOU ARE

Whatever journey has brought you here, however strict or ruthless, there is no judgment; no two people are the same. I encourage you to bring your personality into the room. Together, we will discover whatever the best path may be for you.

Community Engagement

I am volunteering with KidsAid to work with children who are experiencing a variety of different issues, talking with them and developing tailored plans to support them and their loved ones in their time of need.

At your pace at your peace

Healing doesn’t happen on a schedule, and therapy isn’t about constant conversation. Whether you need time to build trust, find the right words, or simply sit with your thoughts, that’s completely okay. Together, we’ll create a safe and steady space where you can move forward at your own pace — towards your own sense of peace.

Psychoeducation

To the best of my abilities, I will work with you, as well as teach you the best methods to understand and respond to your child's behaviours, so you may improve your relationship and support for them.

AIMS

I aim to help you navigate life’s challenges, learn how to sit with difficult emotions, and feel supported as you find your way forward.
